At face value, the gameplay is similar to dicing sites. It is the underlying mechanics and concepts, however, that set this game apart from its competition, and the unique gameplay created is what makes Bustabit popular. Upon first inspection, Bustabit is a fairly simple game. The site overview is simplistic, and players can easily redirect themselves to the game from the home page by clicking the large “Play now” button located in the center. Upon clicking this button, players are redirected to the play tab, where players can see an exponentially increasing graph, live list of betters, and records of past games. The goal of Bustabit is to cash out as late as possible, before the graph busts. The graph represents the value of your bet, starting at 1x. Increase is slow at first, but the graph increases exponentially, and the longer you hold, the quicker the value of your bet increases. Players can set when they want to cash out beforehand, or cashout manually during the round. The whole game lasts a few dozen seconds. |
